Guide to HKUST

There are several modes of transport running between the airport and the university, although it is advisable to take a taxi if you are carrying bulky luggage or for the sake of convenience. Here are 3 suggestions:

Taxi (Cab):

Take a taxi in "Red" which is boundary-free for its scope of service right at the airport for the whole journey to HKUST.

Remarks:
Do not take taxis in "green" nor in "blue" since they are restricted to travel in the New Territories and Lantau Island respectively.
Most of the taxis are 5-seaters, some are 4-seaters.

Airport Express Train:

Take the "Airport Express" from the airport to "Kowloon" MTR station. Then, take the train (MTR) to "PO LAM". Take bus route no. 91M (To DIAMOND HILL RAILWAY STATION) at the nearby bus terminus and get off at the "HKUST" station.

Airport Shuttle Bus:

Take the Airbus route no. E22A from the airport and get off at the "PO LAM BUS TERMINUS" terminus (final stop). Then, take bus route no. 91M (To DIAMOND HILL RAILWAY STATION) at the nearby terminus and get off at the "HKUST" station.
